GV Wire’s Edward Smith talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Liz Gonzalez about the Reedley biolab operator and his intentions for coming to the United States.
The operator, Jia Bei Zhu, entered the U.S. illegally after committing fraud on an “epic scale” in Canada.
In April, Zhu’s case goes to federal trial in Sacramento, where a jury will determine whether he is guilty of adulterating and misbranding medical devices, making false statements to authorities and committing wire fraud.
