The southbound Highway 99 off-ramp at Shaw Avenue in Fresno will be closed Thursday for tree-trimming operations, according to the California Department of Transportation.

The closure is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Caltrans said the closure could last longer if weather or other uncontrollable events delay maintenance work.

Drivers traveling through the maintenance area are advised to use extra caution and allow additional travel time. Caltrans also reminds motorists to watch for road maintenance personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
