A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday after officers conducting a probation search in Fresno found a stolen handgun equipped with a device that allows automatic fire, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of North Cecelia Avenue to conduct a probation search of a subject on felony probation. During a search of his bedroom, officers located a black Glock 19 9 mm pistol with a loaded 10-round magazine, police said.
The firearm was equipped with a conversion device, described by police as a “Glock switch,” allowing automatic fire.
A records check of the firearm’s serial number confirmed it was stolen, police said.
The suspect, identified as Danny Llamas, 26, was booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple weapons violations and possession of stolen property, according to police.
