Women’s Equality Day, a day that commemorates the passage of the 19th amendment that gave women the right to vote, is on Aug. 26.
The League of Women Voters of Fresno celebrated the day with its 11th annual Women’s Equality Day award ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist church in Fresno. Click the video above or below to hear about some of the honorees.
