A networking group in the Central Valley is looking to bring entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals together. The goal is to not only to build connections, but to create opportunities and support the community.

VP Social will host its next networking event Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a new restaurant, Bulle.

Organizers said VP Social’s vision is to create a community network where like-minded individuals can meet regularly through quarterly, and eventually monthly, gatherings.

The group was created around the idea of being connectors, helping entrepreneurs and business owners expand their circles and discover new opportunities.

“Join us for an exclusive evening of networking with entrepreneurs, professionals, and business-minded individuals,” organizers said on the event website. “Your ticket includes a selection of chef-selected hors d’oeuvres, while a curated menu of premium cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages is available for purchase from our servers throughout the evening.”

Tiffany Albertson, one of the organizers, said the focus is on creating a relaxed environment. That way, attendees can have meaningful conversations, develop partnerships, and grow their professional networks.

VP Social Helps Family During Palisades Fire

Beyond networking, VP Social also plans to incorporate charitable efforts into its events through galas and fundraisers.

The organization’s first event included a fundraiser for a Fresno native whose family was impacted by the Palisades Fire. Organizers said they raised money to support the family.

The fundraiser benefited Jeff Boos, who organizers said lived in Altadena with his wife and children before being forced to evacuate during the fires. They said the fire completely destroyed the family’s home.

Organizers said the home originally belonged to Boos’ wife, Austin, and her family, who had spent years renovating the property before it burned down just three weeks after the work was completed. Austin’s parents and sister also lost their home in the fire.

“They left with only the clothes on their backs,” organizers said in a flyer for their original gala event.

“It was their generational home,” Albertson told GV Wire.

Albertson said the experience reinforced the group’s mission of combining professional networking with opportunities to give back.
