Tulare County Authorities Say Man Shot During Handbag Sale

Just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting on the 400 block of South Crawford Avenue in Dinuba.

Deputies learned the victim had arranged to meet another man near Avenue 416 and Road 128 in Orosi to sell a handbag when a fight broke out, resulting in the victim being shot twice.

The man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
