Two men were arrested after a local business was broken into Sunday night, according to the Madera Police Department.

Police said the business owner provided officers with surveillance video and photographs of the two suspects involved in the burglary. Officers with the department’s weekend night shift responded and located David Gonzalez, 41, who was arrested.

The department said its weekend day shift continued investigating the case and later arrested Nathaniel Peralta, 27, on Monday morning.

Police credited the quick arrests to cooperation between the business owner and officers, saying the partnership helped prevent further crime.
