Grand Rising has revealed the surprise musical guest for its final Fresno party: Sage the Gemini.

Organizers announced Friday that the California rapper will be the special guest at “The Final Rise,” set for Saturday, Sept. 12, at Azara Supper Club.

The announcement comes after organizers previously teased an unannounced musical guest for the alcohol-free morning party, which combines music, fitness, food, mocktails, and wellness activities.

Sage the Gemini will join a music lineup that already includes KG559, DJ Kay Rich, and DJ Alex.

The event begins with a community run at 8 a.m., bringing together about 10 running clubs from across the central San Joaquin Valley. Organizers previously estimated that 150 to 200 people would take part in the run.

A free yoga session with Sammi the Yogi begins at 9 a.m., when the main Grand Rising event also gets underway. The party runs until 1 p.m.

Grand Rising launched in August 2025 as an alternative to traditional alcohol-centered events, pairing DJs with healthy food, wellness vendors, and community activities. The gatherings later expanded to include running, cycling, yoga, mocktails, and other fitness programming.

Organizers expect more than 400 people at Saturday’s finale.

The event will also feature massage, a kids area, coffee and matcha, wellness services, giveaways, and other activities and surprises.

“The Final Rise” will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Azara Supper Club in Fresno, with the community run beginning at 8 a.m.

Tier 3 tickets are currently $18 for adults and $10 for children. VIP tickets are $35 and include access to a private seating area and a first drink free.
