A follow-up investigation into Tuesday’s stabbing of a 16-year-old led Sanger police to arrest a convicted felon and seize narcotics and a privately manufactured firearm, authorities said Wednesday.

Sanger Police Department investigators, assisted by the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium, arrested Uriel Larios, 33, of Easton, while conducting follow-up and making an arrest connected to the stabbing investigation.

Police identified Larios as a documented gang member and previously convicted felon.

Investigators allege Larios was found with narcotics intended for sale and a semiautomatic 9mm privately manufactured firearm, commonly known as a ghost gun. The firearm was equipped with a high-capacity magazine, police said.

Larios was arrested on charges related to possession and transportation of narcotics for sale, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and other firearm-related offenses.

He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
