Firebaugh native and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is extending his partnership with Wonderful Pistachios with limited-edition packaging, a new national advertising campaign, and the renewal of a college scholarship program for Central Valley students.
Allen, who comes from a fourth-generation farming family, will appear on 16-ounce bags of Wonderful Pistachios Roasted & Salted In-Shell Pistachios sold at select retailers and Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium during the football season.
The partnership is entering its second year and highlights Allen’s ties to agriculture in the Central Valley, where Wonderful Pistachios are grown and processed. His family’s pistachio orchards help supply the company.
“Farming and football both require passion, persistence and dedication. You have to show up every day, trust the process, and keep pushing forward,” Allen said. “From the farm to the field, pistachios are part of my roots, and I’m proud to share that story with fans.”
Wonderful Pistachios and Allen also announced the Josh Allen Scholarship will return for a second year in his hometown of Firebaugh.
The program assists first-generation students graduating from high school and pursuing higher education, providing help with college applications and up to $12,000 over four years of college. Nearly 40 seniors were accepted during the scholarship’s inaugural year.
Wonderful Pistachios will also debut a national advertising campaign Oct. 12 focusing on Allen’s roots as a California farmer. The campaign follows Allen’s first advertisements for the company in 2025.
