A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and felony hit-and-run after police said she fled the scene of a traffic collision Monday afternoon in Fresno.

Fresno police officers responded about 4:29 p.m. to the area of Golden State and Orange avenues for a traffic collision that was blocking the roadway.

Police said one of the drivers, identified as Angie Martinez, fled the scene following the collision. One person who remained at the scene reported lower back pain as a result of the crash.

Officers conducted a DUI investigation and arrested Martinez on suspicion of driving under the influence and felony hit-and-run. A blood draw was conducted as part of the DUI investigation, police said.

Martinez was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
