A long-held dream became reality this week as Christie’s Boutique officially celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location, 457 Pollasky Ave., in the heart of Old Town Clovis.
Owner Christie Ransom, a lifelong Clovis resident, said opening her retail boutique has been a dream more than two decades in the making.
Christie’s Boutique offers a wide range of merchandise, including women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel, as well as gifts and accessories.
While the store currently leans into a Western-inspired theme — reflecting the lifestyle and Clovis rodeo culture — Ransom emphasized the boutique carries “something for everyone,” from casual lifestyle wear to more elevated fashion pieces.
Three’s A Company
What sets the boutique apart is its collaborative model. Two independent businesses, The Kindled Collective and Cali Threads Boutique, operate within the space, each bringing a unique specialty.
The Kindled Collective focuses on custom hat design, featuring hand-burned artwork and a “hat bar” experience where customers can personalize their own pieces. The owner, Sabrina Montano, also hosts workshops, teaching visitors how to create and accessorize their own hats.
The second business, Cali Threads Boutique owned by Katie Bailey, offers comfortable and stylish clothing with a Western-inspired aesthetic. Along with stylish clothing, various accessories and items can be found in the boutique as well.
Together, the three businesses aim to create more than just a shopping destination. Ransom said she envisions the boutique as a place for connection, where customers can enjoy “retail therapy,” build relationships, and find a sense of community.

Mother’s Day Event
Looking ahead, the boutique is already planning regular events to draw in shoppers. A Mother’s Day celebration is scheduled for May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The “sip and play” event will feature additional vendors, including jewelry displays and piercing services, along with giveaways and interactive experiences.
Christie’s Boutique is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays starting at 9 a.m. to coincide with the Old Town farmers market to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
With its mix of retail, creativity, and community-focused events, Christie’s Boutique is positioning itself as a new hub for shoppers in Old Town Clovis.
