Within hours of Fresno County being moved into California’s ‘red’ tier for reopening, local businesses are wasting no time opening up.

Movie theaters, shut down since the beginning of the pandemic can now open indoors with modifications at a maximum 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer. Regal Cinemas’ River Park location plans to open at 5 p.m. tonight.

Indoor Dining Resumes

Restaurants can re-open their inside dining rooms at a maximum 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer. Shortly after Fresno County’s updated status was revealed, Pismo’s Coastal Grill in northwest Fresno posted a message to its Facebook page that said, “We’ve been waiting for this moment….OPEN!”

Other restaurants were moving to reopen their ding rooms as well, including India’s Oven at Ashlan and Marks and Mad Duck’s northwest location.

GB3 Locations Opening

About an hour and a half after learning they could partially reopen, GB3 posted information to their social media accounts.

Gyms and fitness centers can open indoors with modifications at a maximum 10% capacity. GB3 is planning to open all their locations October 1st.

The post reads in part, “We received great news today and will be re-opening all the gyms on Thursday 10-1-20 at 4 a.m. All billing will resume (unless you are on freeze) on the same day and for the same amount as prior to our closure.”
