Tulare County Apartment Shooting Sends One to the Hospital

A man was hospitalized following a shooting Tuesday night in the parking lot of the Oakwood Apartments in Ivanhoe, the Tulare County Sherriff’s Department said in a statement.

Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call shortly after 9 p.m. at the apartment complex, located near the intersection of Road 158 and Giotta Avenue.

Deputies found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

His condition has not been released.

Detectives from the sheriff’s office have taken over the investigation and are actively gathering information.

Authorities urge anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 559-733-6218.
