Andrew Levi Hammond, 29, of Oakhurst, was sentenced Thursday to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole, plus an indeterminate term of 75 years to life, in state prison, the Fresno District Attorney’s office announced.
Hammond was convicted of three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of personal use of a firearm.
Judge Jonathan Conklin of the Fresno County Superior Court delivered the sentence following a jury’s guilty verdict on all charges on May 1.

Hammond’s homicides spanned two years, beginning on Sept. 28, 2020, when he shot and killed Fernando Gonzales at a Rosary ceremony in Fresno.
On Oct. 21, 2022, he fatally shot Steven Rice at a residence in Fresno after an earlier physical altercation involving acquaintances.

Hammond’s final murder occurred on Nov. 2, 2022, when he killed Brandon Munoz during a dispute over a small unpaid debt at an abandoned house in Fresno.
Hammond’s criminal history includes felony auto theft, felony evading, and three felony counts of assault with a likelihood to cause great bodily injury.
