Several Fresno County departments are experiencing limited services due to a countywide network outage that began early Monday morning, officials said.

The Fresno County Information Technology Services Department has been working to resolve the issue, but there is currently no estimated time for when services will be fully restored.

What Services Are Limited?

County officials said departments across the county are either unavailable or operating with limited capacity. Some phone lines are working intermittently.

The Assessor’s Office is providing services through phone and email, while its public counter remains open with limited services because staff cannot access electronic data. The Recorder’s Office is closed to the public, but staff are answering calls.

The Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector’s services are limited to phone and email, and credit card payments cannot be processed.

Behavioral Health offices are operating with limited phone and email services, though all in-person clinics remain open. Emergency mental health resources, including the Fresno County Access Line at 1 (800) 654-3937, Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988, California Warm-Line at 1 (800) 845-7415, and Mobile Crisis Team at (559) 600-6000, remain available.

Other departments experiencing limited services include the Board of Supervisors, County Administrative Office, Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, General Services, Human Resources, Public Defender, and Public Works and Planning.

Child Support Services offices and services are unavailable to customers, though child support court hearings scheduled for Monday are moving forward.

The County Clerk/Elections Office remains open with intermittent delays, while credit card payments cannot be processed.

The District Attorney’s Office reported no interruption to services.

Fresno County libraries remain open with all services operational, including online services available through www.fresnolibrary.org.

Probation offices remain open, but access to case management systems is limited and unavailable in some areas. Juvenile Justice Commitment and Detention Facilities remain operational but do not have network access.

Public Health offices are open with limited services. Social Services lobbies remain open with limited services, and residents can continue accessing benefits through www.benefitscal.com.

The Sheriff’s administrative offices and lobby remain open with all services operational. Dispatchers can be reached at (559) 600-3111.
