The California Department of Transportation announced scheduled closures Thursday for landscaping operations in Fresno County, including the westbound Highway 180 offramp at Fowler Avenue.

The closure is set from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., as maintenance crews conduct landscaping work along the offramp.

Officials said closures could continue for longer periods if necessary due to weather delays or other uncontrollable events during maintenance.

Caltrans maintenance workers are urging drivers to use caution, allow extra travel time and remain alert for road crews, reminding motorists to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
