Brandon Clarke, a power forward for the Memphis Grizzlies and former Gonzaga standout, died Monday at 29, according to TMZ Sports.

Details surrounding his death were not immediately available.

Clarke played seven NBA seasons, averaging 10.2 points and 5.5 rebounds in 309 games. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie team after his first season.

Born in Vancouver, Clarke played at San Jose State before transferring to Gonzaga, where he averaged 16.9 points and earned Associated Press and Sporting News All-American honors.
