Fresno police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of stealing more than $2,500 worth of gasoline by siphoning it directly from underground storage tanks.
Police said the theft happened Aug. 10 at a gas station near North Chestnut and East McKinley avenues, where the suspect allegedly stole $2,545 worth of gasoline.

The suspect was described as a white adult man who wears glasses, a video released by Fresno police shows.
Police said he was driving a black 1986 Chevrolet single-cab, long-bed pickup truck with fading paint on the roof.
