Ever spilled soda, orange juice, wine, or coffee on your clothes? Then you can relate to a Fresno city councilmember’s frustrating experience.
Councilmember Nick Richardson took aim at Starbucks during a recent council meeting after a faulty coffee cup lid caused him to spill coffee down his shirt.
Making matters worse, Richardson said the shirt was a birthday gift from his mom.
Richardson displayed the cup, pointing to a “gigantic” hole on the cup near the drinking opening.
Buy From Local Independents Instead of Supporting Chains
Richardson urged the community to buy local from local “mom and pop” stores instead.
Richardson specifically recommended The Mug, Supri, Kuppa Joy, and Wake Me Up Farms, saying customers are less likely to encounter problems like the one that ruined his shirt.
