Thousands of dollars’ worth of electronics destined for Best Buy were stolen from a locked truck trailer during an overnight cargo theft in Tulare County, authorities said.
Tulare County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded just after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 6000 block of Avenue 403 in Goshen after receiving reports of a cargo theft.
Investigators determined that three pallets of electronics intended for delivery to Best Buy had been stolen from the locked trailer, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities estimated the value of the stolen merchandise at between $20,000 and $25,000.
