GV Wire reporter Edward Smith talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Kim Stephens on how state lawmakers are looking to proceed with a transportation tax by overturning a decision from the Fresno County Board of Supervisors.
Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria rewrote an existing bill compelling the Better Roads Safe Streets tax onto the November ballot.
“Local elections become meaningless when corrupt state politicians can simply rewrite the rules after their side loses.” Supervisor Chairman Garry Bredefeld said.
