Burrito chain operator Chipotle Mexican Grill pulled jalapenos linked to Minnesota salmonella cases from multiple stores, Bloomberg News reported citing people familiar with the matter on Tuesday.
Shares of the company were down about 7% in afternoon trading.
The company removed the suspected peppers from all its stores that received the product and is assisting Minnesota health officials with their probe into the outbreak, the report said.
Chipotle did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment.
