A new CBS News/YouGov poll found more than three-fourths of respondents believe the Trump administration has faced greater difficulty in the U.S. war with Iran than expected as the conflict nears its five-month mark.

Of 2,193 respondents, 20% said the war has gone about as smoothly as expected, while 4% said it has been easier.

The poll also found roughly two-thirds believe President Donald Trump should end the conflict now. A plurality, 37%, said the war will continue for months, while 21% expect it to last years.

The survey’s margin of error was 2.7 percentage points.
