A 64-year-old woman was arrested July 1 after Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Eastern Avenue.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies from the Taft Substation and detectives with the Rural Crimes Investigation Unit served the warrant.
Authorities said Deanna Murphy was booked into the Lerdo jail facility on suspicion of maintaining a residence for drug sales, possession of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance with a prior conviction, possession of a controlled substance, being a felon in possession of a stun gun, child endangerment, delaying or obstructing an arrest, and an outstanding felony warrant.
The sheriff’s office did not release additional details about the investigation.
