Two teenagers were cited and had their electric motorcycles impounded after being stopped by a Clovis Police traffic officer Wednesday afternoon.

The traffic stop occurred just after 4 p.m. on DeWolf near Barstow avenues, according to the Clovis Police Department.

Police said both riders, who are 15 years old, were cited for driving without a license. Their electric motorcycles were impounded.

Officers also warned the teens’ parents that they could face criminal charges if the behavior is repeated.

Police urged the public to call 911, when it is safe to do so, to report reckless drivers.
