Putin Lays out His Ukraine Demands in Call to Turkish President

On Thursday afternoon, Russian President Vladimir Putin rang Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and described his precise demands for a peace deal with Ukraine.
Chief among them is an acceptance by Ukraine that it should be neutral and should not apply to join NATO, according to a source who listened in on the call.
Other elements include disarmament, “de-Nazification” of Ukraine, and what appears to be a demand that Ukraine formally gives up some of its territory to Russia.
