Four people were arrested and two methamphetamine conversion labs were dismantled following a lengthy narcotics investigation in Kern County and surrounding areas, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators seized about 102.8 pounds of methamphetamine, 576.47 pounds of methamphetamine in solution, seven firearms, and several thousand dollars in U.S. currency. Authorities also recovered a stolen Class C motorhome.

The sheriff’s office said investigators dismantled conversion labs at a property in a residential neighborhood in Delano and at a rural property in Los Angeles County.

On Wednesday, the Kern County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, assisted by the sheriff’s Gang Unit and Special Operations Group, served search warrants at properties in the 6700 block of Brewerton Court in Bakersfield, the 1300 block of High Street and 10400 block of Brutton Street in Delano, and the 600 block of North Market Road in Earlimart.

Investigators identified Emmanuel Mayorga, 37, of Mexico; Lucio Meza-Meza, 30, of Mexico; Miguel Gonzalez-Lozano, 27, of Delano; and Maricio Bustos-Ortiz of Fresno as suspects in a conspiracy to possess methamphetamine for sale, manufacture methamphetamine for sale, and traffic the drug throughout the Central Valley, the sheriff’s office said.

Gonzalez-Lozano was arrested Tuesday in Madera County on an active warrant.

Mayorga and Meza-Meza were arrested Wednesday in the 1300 block of High Street in Delano on active warrants.

Bustos-Ortiz was arrested July 23 and is awaiting court proceedings.
