Visalia police seized eight firearms, including a ghost AR-15 rifle, after a Sunday morning threat investigation that led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man, authorities said.

Just after 2 a.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of West Corvina Avenue following reports that an individual had been threatened with a firearm, according to the Visalia Police Department. During the investigation, officers identified Jordan Uvalle, as the suspect.

Police later obtained and served a search warrant at a residence on the same block, where they recovered eight firearms, numerous rounds of ammunition, multiple firearm magazines, and a ghost AR-15 rifle, authorities said.

Uvalle was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on charges including criminal threats, possession of an unserialized firearm, and possession of a firearm with altered identifying marks, police said.
