A 32-year-old man was killed and a 22-year-old man injured in a shooting early Sunday at an apartment complex near Barstow and Blackstone avenues, Fresno police said.
Northwest Policing District officers responded around 12:32 a.m. to reports of two shooting victims.
They found Shannon Ivory suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the carport. A second male victim was located on an upstairs landing with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where Ivory was pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m., and the 22-year-old was listed in stable condition.
Investigators said the victims arrived at the complex and became involved in a disturbance with another resident. An unknown male associated with that resident fired several shots before fleeing eastbound on Barstow Avenue.
