In this noisy world, a quiet darling of a 10-month-old girl kitten may be just who you’re looking for!
Meet Mako, who’s shy and quiet and might need a bit of time to get comfortable. Then she’s super sweet and loving. Mako plays happily with little cloth toys and jingle-bell balls, and has gotten along fine with a small dog.
She loves her sister Mina, and they stay close. Mako also is a silky little cuddler when she knows she can trust you.
A quiet home might be the best fit for her gentle personality. Her classic black tabby beauty is accessorized by a sugar-dipped smile and chin, and adorable bright white toesies.
Mako’s Backstory
It can be important to understand the history of kitties like Mako and Mina to help them live their best life going forward. These sisters started their journey in a hoarding situation that had come to its end. Thus, they were in danger of being dumped and facing constant danger.
Fortunately, someone arranged for them to come to The Cat House on the Kings. Their good luck continued as the sanctuary had a patient foster who worked with them to ease their understandable trepidation.
How to Adopt Mako
Now they need the spotlight to help them find a family before the kitten flood overflows adoption rooms.
With those big, beautiful eyes, Mako is watching and hoping for a future as sweet as she is. Could this tabby doll be your new joy? Could sister Mina come to double the joy?
To adopt Mako, Mina, or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.
All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litter-box trained. Thirty days of pet insurance is included with an adoption.
The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.
