The California Department of Transportation announced scheduled lane closures for asphalt pavement repairs at multiple locations in Fresno County this week.

On Wednesday, the No. 2 lane along westbound Highway 180 at Temperance Avenue just east of Fowler Avenue will be closed, along with the westbound Highway 180 straight onramp at Temperance Avenue.

Maintenance personnel will conduct repairs within the closure limits from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Thursday will see the southbound Highway 99 offramp at Second Street closed for repairs between 8:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Early Friday, northbound Highway 99 will have its No. 1 and No. 2 lanes closed from Shields Avenue to Ashlan Avenue from 1:15 a.m. to 5 a.m. for maintenance work.

Caltrans warned that closures may last longer than scheduled due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers are urged to allow extra travel time, remain alert for maintenance personnel, and follow “Slow for the Cone Zone” safety guidelines.
