A new sushi spot in Clovis from one of the fastest growing local restaurant groups will make it easier for those craving a roll but who might be crunched for time.

Sushi Box from Lin’s Restaurant Group allows diners to select from a wide variety of pre-made rolls to build out custom boxes, according to a news release from the group. Guests don’t have to buy an entire roll but can pick different pieces from a wide variety of choices.

“We’ve envisioned this concept for years, and it has been in development for quite some time,” said Jason Lin, principal with Lin’s Restaurant Group. “I first saw the concept overseas, and I knew I wanted to bring it home one day. Our Sushi Box team has been working diligently, and we are super excited to finally bring this idea to life and to our hometown.”

Located at 1840 Herndon Ave., Suite 104 in Clovis, the restaurant will celebrate its opening day Friday.

Sushi Rotated Throughout the Day

Sushi pieces get rotated throughout the day, and guests get to see sushi and fish, the release stated. Those wanting to stick around can also find both indoor and patio seating.

In October, Lin’s opened Ichi Shabu in Campus Pointe, a Japanese hotpot restaurant. Lin’s also owns and operates Ramen Hayashi, O-Iza Japanese Cuisine, Hino Oishi, and Lin’s Fusion.
