The Big Fresno Fair will host a jobs event Thursday for the upcoming celebration — and they’re looking to fill 400 positions.

The job fair will begin 9 a.m. and go through 1 p.m. at the Commerce Building, according to a fair news release. Free parking will be available at the Chance Avenue parking lot.

Positions include parking and admission ticket sellers, ticket takers, janitorial staff, security guards, ushers, maintenance staff, parking attendants, and more.

Applications can be found at this link. The fair is telling job applicants to fill out the application and make copies beforehand. Applicants should also bring several copies of resumes for each position they are interested in applying for.

And don’t forget business attire.

YG, Monster Trucks, Joan Jett, and a Rodeo at This Year’s Fair

The fair kicks off Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 12. This year, the fair has added several events at the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand to make up for the loss of horseracing, including monster trucks, rodeo riders, and motocross.

With two musical acts left to be announced, big names at the Paul Paul Amphitheater include YG, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Commodores, and Trace Adkins.

Fans of the 1990s can see Lit, Fuel, and Eve 6.
