A Tipton man convicted of molesting two children younger than 10 was sentenced Thursday to 155 years to life in prison, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said.

Cristian Alejandro Garcia, 32, was sentenced in Department 23 of Tulare County Superior Court at the South County Justice Center.

Garcia was found guilty May 15 of nine counts of child molestation, with special allegations involving multiple victims and substantial conduct.

Prosecutors said the crimes occurred between July 2022 and March 2024 in Tipton and involved two children, both younger than 10.

In addition to his prison sentence, Garcia is required to register as a sex offender for life.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Vanessa Martens and investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.
