Rob Fuentes joined GV Wire’s Edward Smith on Thursday for an interview on what he would do if he won the Fresno City Council District 1 seat in November.
Fuentes’ opponent is Naindeep Singh, who spoke with GV Wire on Sept. 30.
Singh and Fuentes are competing for the District 1 seat currently held by Councilmember Annalisa Perea, who is running for state Assembly. Both candidates advanced from the June primary to the November runoff.
The district includes west-central Fresno and portions of the Tower District. Fuentes is currently a board trustee for the State Center Community College District.
Fuentes fielded questions about his track record, endorsement from Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, the Southeast Development Plan, and his work as a federal prosecutor, among other topics.
