Twelve people were arrested Wednesday during a countywide operation targeting individuals wanted on domestic violence-related warrants, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.
The multi-agency sweep was conducted in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which is observed in October.
Authorities said the operation focused on individuals with outstanding felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants related to domestic violence.
Law enforcement teams followed investigative leads, conducted compliance checks, and took 12 wanted individuals into custody.
The sheriff’s office said the operation was part of Sheriff Boudreaux’s efforts to hold domestic violence offenders accountable, improve community safety, and support victims.
Participating agencies included the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Tulare County Probation Department, Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Parole Division, and TARGET Task Force.
Police departments from Visalia, Lindsay, Tulare, Dinuba, Woodlake, and Exeter also participated.
Authorities did not release the identities of those arrested.
