Fresno County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a person found injured at a Selma home Monday morning, authorities said.

Shortly before 11 a.m., sheriff’s dispatchers received a call reporting an injured person at a home in the 11000 block of East Saginaw Avenue, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded and found the injured person, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives and Crime Scene Unit technicians responded to gather statements and collect evidence.

The Sheriff’s Office said the incident was isolated and there is no danger to the public. The investigation remains ongoing.
