Saudi Arabia is facing mounting pressure from Iran-backed forces as Houthi attacks, shipping disruptions, and a strike on the kingdom’s East-West Pipeline strain its security and oil exports, according to a Times of Israel analysis.

The report said Riyadh’s recent defense pact with Turkey and Pakistan has not produced military assistance, while Washington has declined Saudi requests for strikes on the Houthis.

The analysis argued that Israel could emerge as a quiet security partner, potentially sharing intelligence and defensive technology.

Saudi Arabia and Israel both view Iran and the Houthis as threats, though normalization remains tied to the Palestinian issue.
