Caltrans will close several highway ramps in Fresno overnight Thursday and Friday for scheduled guardrail repairs, the agency announced.

The northbound Highway 41 connector ramp to northbound Highway 99 will be closed from 10:30 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday.

The straight onramp from eastbound Jensen Avenue to northbound Highway 41 will also be closed during the work.

A second round of closures is scheduled from 11 p.m. Friday to 4:30 a.m. Saturday, when the westbound Highway 168 connector ramp to Highway 180 will be closed for guardrail repairs. The onramp from McKinley Avenue to westbound Highway 168 will also be closed.

Caltrans said the closures could last longer if work is delayed by weather or other uncontrollable events. All scheduled work is weather permitting.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution, allow additional travel time, and watch for maintenance personnel in the work zones.
