Gaza Documentary ‘NAZA’ to Premiere at Venice Film Festival

A new documentary examining Israel’s bombing campaign in Gaza will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, according to The Guardian.
“NAZA,” directed by Oscar-winning filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor and produced by the Guardian, is the only documentary competing this year for the Golden Lion. The filmmakers said the documentary examines systems behind what they describe as Israel’s “calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.”
The film builds on investigative reporting conducted from 2023 to 2025 by the Guardian, Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 and Hebrew-language outlet Local Call.
