A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a California Highway Patrol officer spotted a truck traveling well below the speed limit and weaving across lanes in Fresno, authorities said.

CHP Fresno said the truck was traveling 33 mph in a 65 mph zone and was unable to remain in its lane.

A traffic stop resulted in a DUI arrest, according to CHP.

Authorities reminded motorists that impaired driving poses a danger regardless of how fast a vehicle is traveling and urged drivers not to get behind the wheel while impaired.
