A 43-year-old man was arrested after authorities serving a search warrant in Visalia found about 6.5 pounds of methamphetamine, evidence of a DMT lab and a suspected chop shop, police said.
The Visalia Police Department Narcotics Unit, Tulare County Agencies Regional Gun Violence Enforcement Team, and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole served the warrant at about 9:52 a.m. at a home in the 1000 block of South Terri Street.
During the search, officers found the methamphetamine, indicators of drug sales and evidence of a DMT lab, according to police.
Officers also found what police described as a suspected chop shop in the garage, along with a stolen motorcycle and miscellaneous vehicle parts.
The Tulare Regional Auto Theft Task Force responded and took over the investigation into the suspected chop shop.
Jeremy Miller, 43, was taken into custody and booked on multiple narcotics and property-related charges, police said.
