A 32-year-old man was arrested Monday after a 911 hang-up call reporting a disturbance led Visalia police to discover multiple firearms, including a ghost gun, authorities said.

Visalia Police Department officers responded about 7:17 a.m. to the 2300 block of East Feemster Avenue after dispatchers reported that a man and woman were involved in a disturbance. Police said the man had threatened to “shoot it out” with officers before leaving the residence in a silver Ford F-250.

Officers located the truck near Irma and Feemster avenues and detained the driver, identified by police as Daniel Lyons, without incident. Police said Lyons was cooperative.

Officers learned Lyons had an outstanding warrant on a firearms charge and arrested him on suspicion of domestic battery in connection with the disturbance, police said.

A search of Lyons’ truck turned up a loaded Glock handgun and a ghost gun with a high-capacity magazine, according to police.

Lyons was booked on the outstanding warrant, domestic battery, and several firearm-related charges.
