A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck about 6.2 miles north-northeast of Kettleman City at 6:21 a.m. Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of about 9.4 miles in Central California.
The earthquake was reviewed by a USGS scientist. The agency said the event was recorded by 94 stations.
