Tulare County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect after a farm worker was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon near Lindsay.

Deputies responded just before 1:30 p.m. Friday to the area of Avenue 200 and Highway 65 for a reported armed robbery, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said a farm laborer was held at gunpoint by a suspect, who fled the scene with the victim’s money and cell phone.

Deputies remained in the area Friday conducting an investigation and searching for the suspect.
