Visalia police are asking for the public’s help as they continue investigating a fatal shooting that occurred during a graduation party on May 30.

The shooting happened at about 10:42 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Victor Avenue, according to the Visalia Police Department.

Officers responding to the scene found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where he later died.

Three other people were shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Authorities said a large graduation party was taking place at the residence when the shooting occurred, and investigators believe numerous people were present.

Police are urging anyone who attended the party, was in the area or witnessed anything related to the shooting to come forward, saying even seemingly minor details could help move the investigation forward.
