A wildland fire was reported Thursday in the community of California Hot Springs, prompting an incident advisory for Tulare County Fire Zone TLC-E289.

The fire was reported in the area of Oakwood Drive and Rabbit Foot Trail, according to the Tulare County Fire Department.

Officials said the advisory is not an evacuation order.

Residents are encouraged to follow the Tulare County Fire Department on social media or monitor the Watch Duty app, Genasys app or protect.genasys.com for updates.
