A missing at-risk child who prompted a search in Richgrove was safely located in Delano, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

Authorities said the 9-year-old autistic child had been reported missing in Richgrove and was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, black sweatpants and black Crocs. Deputies and detectives were on scene conducting a search at the time.

Officials said the child is non-auditory and was considered at risk due to age and medical needs.
