Clovis police officers made one DUI arrest and issued 26 citations during a DUI patrol operation conducted Friday.

According to the Clovis Police Department, officers conducted 37 traffic stops during the enforcement detail, resulting in two total arrests, including one for driving under the influence.

Police thanked drivers who made responsible choices and reminded the public to call 911 to report suspected DUI drivers.

The DUI patrol was funded through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
